Information for employers

Asset at a glance

We're licensed, complying and eligible

As a "complying eligible choice fund", Asset is suitable for use as a default fund for those of your employees who do not make an alternative choice

Asset Super is registered by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (Registration No. R1000023) and the Trustee is licensed as a Registrable Superannuation Entity (License No. L0000062.

The Trustee also holds an Australian Financial Services Licence (No. 230070) issued by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

Asset is a multi-employer, multi-industry super fund that has been operating since 1987.

The focus of the fund is on providing excellent value for money, for you and your employees. Asset provides all the features you want - at a very reasonable cost.

Profits for members

Asset's philosophy is "profits for members". By that we mean that the fund is run for the benefit of its members, not to provide profits to shareholders or to pay sales commissions to intermediaries. All profits are retained in the fund and applied for the members' benefit.

Fast-growing and successful

Asset is fast growing and successful. As at 30th June, 2008, we are currently managing over $1.3 billion on behalf of 110,000 members.

Over 6,000 employers have now put their trust in Asset to manage their super. Those employers come from all sorts of backgrounds. They range from large organisations with thousands of staff in multiple locations to small operations with only a handful of employees.

Good value super for life

Asset recognises that, with flexible employment patterns and new approaches to retirement income, many of today's employees are looking for a good super fund for life. That's why we offer continuity throughout their working life and beyond.

What does "super for life" mean?

Employees who leave you can stay on as personal members, and those who retire can stay as pension members. In either case they'll continue to enjoy the excellent value they've come to expect from Asset.
